Day Moon

Not the best photo of the Moon, but I was hoping to get a bigger photo of the Moon during the day against the Engineering Department building on Parks Road. I think that they have a telescope on the roof of this department, which would have been nice to see the Moon through today as it is so clear. How often can the Moon be seen during the day?

The moon can be seen at some point during the day for much of each lunar cycle.

The number of days does depend though on the time of year - it'll be visible more often during the longer summer days.

It's also of course invisible a few days either side of new moon, because it's too close to the sun in the sky, and because the dark side is facing us.
