River Thames Moves Into Port Meadow
With all the rain that we have been having lately I have not been down to the see Port Meadow which normally floods when we get any rain. I was in Binsey today and took this shot looking across the River towards Jericho. You can see very prominently on the skyline the spire of former parish church for North Oxford of St Philip and St James, it's foundation stone was laid by the Bishop of Oxford on the 1st of May 1860. The church is now home to a branch of the Oxford University, The Oxford Centre for Mission Studies.
