As the freezing conditions continue across the UK I decided to take a walk about town to see what I could find for todays photo. As I was walking up the Oxford Canal chatting to other photographers and dog walkers, I spotted this boat on one of the streams connecting the Canal and the River Isis, frozen in along with a little tender. The canal looked wonderful this afternoon, a lot nicer than all the winter slush on the main roads around Oxford.

Frozen In The River

I like this shot, Percy. I wouldn't want to be living on that boat right about now.
My friend, who lives in Pasadena, is from Cambridge. She's hoping her (adult) children get a flight out of Heathrow to come see her for Christmas.
