Steam Train 149 arriving at Oxford Station today on way to Solihul. We have a couple of Stream Trains into the station at Oxford every year and today we had this old steam train visit Oxford Station. Had a lot of interested train spotters at the station for the arrival of this train, which mainly had dinning carriages with passengers enjoying the service of yesteryear. Click the photo if you want to see a larger photo of this train.

The engine has the look of Ex-GWR Castle class 4-6-0 - one of the seventeen fitted with a double chimney introduced in 1956. The first of this class was introduced in 1923. The 149 would be a route number, not the number of the engine.
I'm willing to be corrected by a GWR expert. ;-)
