Nice looking Volvo, wonder what it is like to drive? Would it have another 4000 trouble free miles in her? I am looking for a solid car for next Summer when I plan to go for a little drive to Moscow, I was thinking that I nice older Volvo like this one would do the trick.

Very Good Volvo In Great Condition Body Wise
Nice looking Volvo, wonder what it is like to drive? Would it have another 4000 trouble free miles in her? I am looking for a solid car for next Summer when I plan to go for a little drive to Moscow, I was thinking that I nice older Volvo like this one would do the trick.

Anyways, driving one of these lovelies is a bit like driving a tractor. Most likely you can start in third gear without much protest, it starts even if it's -10 and will most likely carry you to the end of the world, but possibly not very fast. Before the Age of the SUVs, this was the favoured car of the Swedish farmers (if they didn't have a Mercedes diesel that they filled up with the tractor fuel that was tax deductable in those days)
You should probably get a good run out of her. My dad's old vovlo (-82) did more than 200 000 kms (can't work that out in miles)before it even started getting hickups. It looked a mess though, a bit like a pied cow, with big, rusty, blobs in the white paint work. Our family has never been much for cleaning....
