Reflections of the tower at the Oxford Castle.  This is the tower that Matilda the daughter of Henry I, escaped capture in  winter of 1142 by wearing a white cape in the ice and snow covered Oxford.  I don't take many night shots, I am not that good at night photography, hope you can see the reflection of the Tower in the Stream.

I'm reading a book about the Empress Matilda and her being beseiged in Oxford at the moment; I never put two and two together and realised that it was that tower she was incarcerated in.
