This footbridge that passes over the railway at the end of Osney Lane is closed for the next couple of weeks for what is called essential maintenance which is a big job from the looks of things. In this photo you can see that they have removed all the steps on the Oxford side of the bridge, to cross the railway now you will have to use the Botley Road. Not sure the age of the bridge but I would think it has been around for few years.
You do now and then see the old spelling of Osney as Oseney, which is still correct however less often used.
