A few weeks ago I posted information on the new number plates for the UK, and it had a few hits, so today I saw a number plate from the Diplomatic Series. Vehicles with these plates do not pay Road Tax, and you can tell which country or organisation owns the plate by the first three numbers, the letters D indicates Diplomat and the letter X indicates Official Staff from that mission or organisation. This one seen in North Oxford today belongs to the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, which is based in Reading. I thought the name of the organisation is amusing. It's like something from the Avengers.
