Not sure if this is happening in your part of the world, but it has started in Oxford. This photo was taken in the Clarendon Centre in Oxford this afternoon. Yes I know you can see it as well, the Christmas Decorations are up already, help me!! Posted by Picasa

We've already had some Chrismas decorations in public places and malls since early October. Now that Hallowe'en is over, watch out. November 1 is officialy Christmas season and by December 24 everyone will have had enough of tacky.

I believe Christmas decorations will soon appear here in HK...very commercialized ones

It's a sad reflection on the creeping commercialisation of religious festivals. It's just the same up here, with some shops having Christmas merchandise on show since late September!!

Don't know if Hyde DP was the first to show Christmas Lights up in early October, but now several DPs have posted them -- and I fully agree -- it is far too early.
