It has just been announced that the Westgate Shopping Centre as been sold to The Crown Estate. This sale has been reported positively by the media in Oxford, with the Oxford Mail saying that we are likely to see the redevelopment of the centre under the new ownership. I am not sure exactly who The Crown Estates are, however maybe the Queen looked at the centre when she was visiting Oxford in December?
